VSoft's collaboration with OPHTHA Global Foundation to improve ophthalmic care in Kenya
May 29, 2024
In April of this year, our OPHTHA Global Foundation began an exciting collaboration with VSoft S.A. Our partnership involves the provision of the low-code archITect platform by VSoft S.A. for a series of pediatric ophthalmic screenings to be conducted in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. The aim of this collaboration is to significantly improve ophthalmic care for children in Kenya.
VSoft S.A., known for advanced technologies and social commitment, has decided to collaborate and support the OPHTHA Global Foundation in developing an application dedicated to registering and recording patients participating in ophthalmic examinations.
VSoft S.A. is a Polish software house with 28 years of experience, as well as the producer of the modern low-code platform VSoft archITect, which can be used in any company where digitalization of processes has a significant impact on its development, regardless of the industry.
This innovative technology allows for the rapid development of both simple and complex business applications through the use of intuitive drag-and-drop visual tools. Thanks to archITect, an application for the pediatric ophthalmic screening program was developed in just a few days. This is therefore the optimal solution for companies aiming to shorten the implementation time and automate their business processes quickly and efficiently.
By leveraging the modern technologies offered by VSoft S.A., efficient data collection and monitoring of progress in pediatric screenings in Kenya will be possible.
The Pediatric Vision Screening Program will take place in Nairobi in late August and September 2024 by our Foundation. It will be crucial for the early detection and treatment of children's vision problems. Through the partnership with VSoft S.A., the Foundation will train a large number of technicians, specialists, and primary care doctors in Kenya, enabling them to reach the most vulnerable more easily and provide them with the highest level of care, expanding the program to other regions of the country.
This collaboration would not have been possible without the involvement of Dr. Kelvin Gichohi from West Nairobi Equity Afia medical clinic. The clinic will be the main site for implementing the first stage of the program. Thanks to the clinic's support and Dr. Gichohi's commitment, our mission takes on even greater significance.
We warmly invite you to actively support our efforts and follow the progress of our mission. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of thousands of children in Kenya, opening up new possibilities and perspectives for them. Together, we can make positive changes that contribute to building a better future for the youngest.
