We are a foundation that focuses on education in the topic of proper vision development and the prevention of eye diseases in children, also in the context of the increasing frequency of cyber addiction to electronics and the internet. Our mission is to raise public awareness about the health and vision development of the youngest children and to promote prevention and early detection of vision problems in children.
We act with passion and commitment, striving to ensure that every child has the chance for clear vision.
Our projects include:
Training and educational lectures for medical staff
We organize specialized training for nurses, technicians, medical staff, pediatric doctors, and healthcare facility workers, aimed at expanding knowledge in the field of pediatric ophthalmology.
During these trainings:
we present the importance of conducting vision screening tests for children,
demonstrate techniques for performing these tests,
We teach practical skills in conducting vision screening tests in different age groups of children. We assist training participants in understanding and interpreting the results of vision screening tests, including identifying potential vision problems. We provide practical knowledge on the steps to take in case of identifying irregularities.
Training and lectures for parents and caregivers
We organize educational meetings where parents and caregivers can learn about proper eye care for children, the importance of regular eye examinations, and ways to support the vision development of the youngest children. Additionally, as part of our educational activities, we conduct informational programs related to cyber addiction. We educate both children and parents about the negative effects of excessive use of computers, phones, and other electronic devices. Awareness of the problem of electronic addiction and promoting healthy technology usage habits are key elements of our mission.
Medical missions
We carry out medical missions in various parts of the world, where we train and educate local communities about eye diseases in children and adults. Our missions aim not only to treat, but also to prevent vision problems through education and early detection. During medical missions, we provide training for local healthcare workers and educate parents and caregivers about the importance of prevention and regular eye examinations for children. We support the establishment of local healthcare structures and raise public awareness about vision problems in the youngest children. During our medical missions, we also conduct vision screening tests in ethnic groups of children who often do not have access to regular eye care. These tests allow for early detection of vision problems and provide appropriate care and treatment for children in need. In addition to training and screening tests, we also support local healthcare facilities by providing necessary equipment, medications, and training for medical staff. In this way, we aim to increase the accessibility and quality of eye care for children in areas affected by a lack of medical resources.
Educational materials
We create and provide educational materials that help understand the topic of proper vision in children and adults. We prepare guides for parents that contain practical tips for caring for children's eye health in different stages of development, as well as information about the importance of proper diet, physical activity, and above all - screen time to maintain good vision.
Through our educational materials, we strive to reach a wide audience and contribute to improving the eye health of the youngest through education and public awareness.
Cooperation with educational institutions
The knowledge of eye health is also essential among the educational staff. Therefore, we offer special training for teachers and school staff to help them recognize signs of vision problems in children and take appropriate actions to provide support to students. We support schools and kindergartens by organizing special presentations and activities that help children and teachers better understand the topic of eye health.
We are convinced that education and early intervention are crucial for children's eye health and preventing cyber addiction. Therefore, we constantly expand the scope of our activities and engage in projects that contribute to improving the eye health and clear vision of the youngest children.
